S3 STEM Speed Dating (Dr Murray)
On Wednesday 20th November, we will be hosting 20-30 ambassadors from a number of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM) fields. They will be stationed around the hall with groups of folk in S3 given 5 minutes to “grill” them on their lives and careers. It’s always loads of fun and a great opportunity to find out about STEM-related jobs and what they actually entail day to day. Don’t worry, you’ll be given “prompt” questions to help you out if you can’t think of anything to ask. The split in the S3 year group is…
P1 – Surnames A-F (79 pupils)
P2 – Surnames G-L (63 pupils)
P3 – Surnames M-R (65 pupils)
P4 – Surnames S-Z (52 pupils)
Check in with your usual teacher first before heading to the hall with all your worldly goods and a big smile.
Right of the Fortnight: Article 38 Protection in War (Miss Young)
