Remembrance Day 2024 (Mrs Harrower)
The House Captains will be coming around classes, giving you the opportunity to donate money for a Poppy. There is no minimum donation and all money raised, will go directly to Poppy Scotland. Poppy Scotland help current members and veterans of the armed forces.

The Social Subjects pupil Ambassadors are holding a house points competition for S1 only. Come along today at lunch time at 1:15 to the Assembly for the chance to have some fun and win some points for your house.
Fitness Suite Mondays (Mrs Steedman)
Every Monday lunch time the fitness Suite will be open to all pupils S1-S6. Grab a quick lunch and come down to use the equipment, you can do whatever workout you like, some cardio or some weights, entirely up to you!
Career Ready: S5s (Mr. McCowan)
All 8 successful applicants for the 2024-6 Career Ready programme should have been contacted by email this week to let them know they have been approved and who their mentor is. There were a lot of strong applicants this year, but if you weren’t selected don’t worry as there will be many more opportunities in S5 and S6. Can successful applicants please come to Mr. McCowan’s room (C4) on Friday at break for a quick meeting.
Glee Choir (Mr Wilkie)
There will be no Glee Choir today. It will resume Wednesday 6th November.

In some countries across the world people’s views are not respected, some have even taken measures to stop protest and free speech such as North Korea, China, Iran, Burma, Equatorial Guinea, Turkmenistan and Vietnam.
Kirkcaldy Youth Forum!
Kirkcaldy is starting a Youth Forum! A Youth Forum is a group led by young people to voice what changes they would like to make within their community. Come along to our event and discuss your community with other young people, have a voice in decision making and also have some fun!

We present a weekly show on Kirkcaldy’s radio station, K107FM every Wednesday. You could be involved. We meet every Wednesday in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science) to plan the show. Come along and bring your lunch! See Dr M for a lunch/building pass.
