If you have any work to be collected from the Art Department can you please see your teacher to collect before the end of the week.

S4 Election Campaign Results (Miss Reston)
Well done to all our S4 Modern Studies learners who turned up to take part in our election day yesterday. Miss Millar, Miss Young and I are all very proud of you getting involved and were very impressed by some of the speeches and campaign methods that were used.  Despite it being close at points, our winner is SNP Group 2! Please see Miss Reston to discuss your prize! Well done again to all involved.

Glee Choir and Musicians (Mrs Duckett)
Glee choir and musicians will perform tonight at P7 event: dress code – jeans and t-shirt! Will perform same pieces as prizegiving. Be at school for 4.45pm tonight – all performances will be over by 6pm 🙂 Meet at lunchtime today for info!

PE Lost Property (Mrs Steedman)
If you have lost anything in PE over this academic year, can you please come down to the department and check lost property. We are clearing out all the clothes at the end of term so make sure you come and check before it is taken away.

S6 Mentors/Study Buddy (Mrs Little)
A list of S6 pupils who signed up to support the Inclusion HUB and Study Buddy programmes have been put in the Prefect Base. We are holding a training night on Tuesday 18 June, 3:30-4:15pm in the Inclusion HUB. If you are not able to attend or no longer wish to be part of the programme, please let Mrs Little, Mr Geissler or Mrs Kendrick know.

Book Fair (Mr Wadsworth)
Looking for your first new read of the summer? The Scholastic Book Fair has arrived at KHS for one week only! Come to B23 at breaks and lunchtimes to see what we have on the shelf, cheaper than in store, and earns some money for your school.

Sports Day (Miss Kirkwood)
Sports day has been re-scheduled for Friday 14 June period 6 & 7. If you are competing please come to P.E at 1.30pm to get changed and registered. Parents/carers are welcome to spectate.

All New S2-4 Pupils (Ms Crawford)
Can all new S2, S3 & S4 pupils (in these year groups after summer) please scan the QR code below and complete the short MS form. This is to gather information on which sports club’s pupils attend in the community if any at all, if you can swim and if you can ride a bike. Please complete even if you don’t attend any sports clubs.

Edinburgh Pride – Saturday 22 June (Dr Murray) 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
There is an opportunity to go to Edinburgh Pride this year. We will take part in the march, as well as explore the stalls, and Youth Zone. EVERYONE is welcome at a Pride, whether you identify as LGBT+, or not. See Dr M in A4 if you’re interested!

If you’d like to help me with growing flowers, that are named after Greek myths, in our school garden then please bring your lunch and meet me at the amphitheatre.

KHS Radio Show on K107FM (Dr Murray)
We present a weekly show on Kirkcaldy’s radio station, K107FM every Saturday morning. You could be involved, even if you’re never available on a Saturday! We meet every Friday in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science) to plan the show. Come along and bring your lunch! See Dr M for a lunch/building pass.

KHS D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) Group (Dr Murray/Miss Collins)
The KHS D&D Group meets in D2 (Home Ec) every Friday after school. Take part in exciting adventures and storytelling. It’s all up to the fate of the dice!
