S4 Modern Studies learners have been working hard over the last few weeks using different campaign methods to form their own election campaigns. These were presented today, and pupils got to vote for a winning candidate. Learners worked in groups to create, posters, leaflets, speeches, social media posts and videos. Pupils then presented their campaigns to each other and have a few guests from other classes come along. There was a great buzz around.

TeamMods want to say a massive well done to all our S4 Modern Studies learners who turned up to take part in our election day. Miss. Millar, Miss. Reston and Miss. Young are all very proud of you getting involved and were very impressed by some of the speeches and campaign methods that were used. The winner will be announced very soon.

We hope that this has created some engagement and excitement for the General Election coming up very soon. While also allowing pupils to get an experience on the concept of voting and to understand its importance.
