Foundation Apprenticeships (Mrs Hamilton)
If you are interested in doing a Foundation Apprenticeship and would like to find out more information, there will be a stall in the war memorial area at lunch time today. If you have completed your course choice and have chosen a Foundation Apprenticeship course as part of the school college partnership, I would recommend that you visit for more information.

S1 & S2 Girls’ Football (Mrs Steedman)
There is a Scottish Schools tournament next Wednesday in Cupar starting at 10.30am. Only one team can go therefore all S2’s and a selection of S1 pupils have been selected to attend. The team sheet for those selected will be down at the bottom of the stairs in the PE department at break time today. If you have been selected and there are any issues with you playing then please come and see me as other girls can go instead.

S2 First Chances Trip – Wednesday 6 March (Dr Black)
Can all S2 First Chances pupils register in their tutor class on Wednesday morning then go to A6 for the trip to St. Andrews University.

Rights Respecting Schools (Miss Young)
Just to confirm rights is back on as usual this week in B14, we’ve kids to do this week so bring your lunch along too. See you then.

FUTSAL Final (Miss Crawford)
The FUTSAL Final between Union Berlin v Real Madrid will take place today, Wednesday 6 March at 1:10pm, in the Game’s Hall.

Card Games (S1 Pupils and Miss Collins)
If you would like to play card games like Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, Uno or any other card games, come along to D2 at lunchtime on Wednesday. Please bring your own stuff.

Senior Yoga Club for Exam Stress (Mrs Patton)
With exams fast approaching, I am going to be offering an after school yoga club for senior pupils. Yoga can help to reduce feelings of stress and anxiety by connecting with your mind, body, and environment. Through certain poses and breathing techniques, you can learn how to control negative thoughts at your own pace. It can also be a helpful movement break during study periods. If you are interested in finding out more, please pop along to see me at lunchtime Wednesday or Thursday in C6.

Glee Choir (Mrs Duckett)
Attention all singers and wannabe singers! Glee Choir are now recruiting NEW members to prepare for a Musicals concert in June. There will be NO auditions, but we want committed and dedicated members who love singing and acting! We can teach you how to sing if you want to find out too! Rehearsals are after school on a Tuesday with Mrs Duckett and Mr Wilkie. Find out more information from the music department!

Music Practice Rooms (Mrs Duckett)
Music Practice Rooms are for senior pupils (S4-6) ONLY at break and lunchtimes. ALL pupils using practice rooms at these times must sign-in in E11. No food or socialising without exception. These rooms are for practising instruments only. Thank you.

Practical Woodwork, Practical Metalwork and Design & Manufacture Models (Mr Fulton)
Can all pupils who have still to collect a model manufactured as part of their final assignment for these courses last year please come and collect it from the Design & Technology department before Friday 8 March. Any models that remain unclaimed after this date will be recycled.

Babcock International Engineering Apprenticeships (Mr McCowan)
Are you interested in working to maintain the Royal Navy’s fleet of warships? Getting paid to study and learn a trade? Babcock International, based at Rosyth are currently advertising for 2 apprenticeships in:

They are hosting a virtual careers fair on Thursday 7 March from 5.30pm until 7pm to discuss all the apprentice opportunities they have available across Scotland.

The KHS Equality Group meets every Wednesday lunchtime in A4. Anyone who is interested in any aspect of equality is welcome whether it be age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation.
