Today we arrived in France after a very long coach and ferry journey. We were all too excited to sleep! First, we visited a bakery and then the tourist resort of Le Touquet. It was a scary/funny experience at the bakery! As the owner was scary with his rolling pin, he made us learn the French words for the 8 ingredients for making croissants, and then he made us make croissants. We also learned how to make the 3 type of French bread.
The owners gave us all a big croissant to eat.
After that we visited the Le Touquet, there were beautiful views! And weather was really good as well which made the day even better! Some pupils walked along the beach front, and some went on the Carousel. We all ate the croissants that we were given from the bakery they were DELICIOUS!
We arrived at the chateau, our home for the next few days – it was really cool!
