Staff Car Park (Mrs Davidson)
Please remember no pupils should be walking through the staff car park and lunchtime or after school. This is for your own safety – please stick to the pavement.

LIFT OFF SESSION 3 (Mrs Sim)
All young people applying to university through UCAS this year should attend a session in the IT hub period 1 today. This session will be really helpful when thinking about your next steps. Please see Mrs Sim if you are unable to attend. Please go to your period 1 class first to register with your teacher.

Career Ready (Mr Davidson)
There will be a short meeting for all Career Ready students (Year 1 and 2) on Wednesday at 9.30am in the Assembly Hall. Slips in tutor folders.

PE Lost Property (Mrs Steedman)
The pile of clothes in PE is racking up already this year. If you have lost anything down in PE please come and have a look this week or next week!

Scottish Schools Aquathlon (Mrs Little)
If anyone would like to enter the Scottish Schools Aquathlon which will take place on Friday 19 April 2024, can you please see Mrs Little in PE this week. Race lengths are as follows:

S1/2 = 250m swim, 2km run
S3/4 = 400m swim, 3km run
S5/6 = 500m swim, 4km run

S6 Meeting (Mrs Davidson)
There will be a short meeting for all S6 on Friday at tutor in the Dinnerhall. Please register first and come down. Several key points to share so everyone must attend.

Senior Girls’ Football Meeting (Mrs Steedman)
Can all those involved in the senior girls football team please meet on Friday at break in the girls’ gym. Attendance is important for upcoming games. If you cannot make this meeting please speak to Mrs Steedman!

College Applications (Mrs Davidson)
Applications for Sept 2024 go live on Mon 15 Jan. Anyone wishing to apply can come to the library on Monday 15 Jan, Pd 3-5 to apply. S6 should attend during their study periods as appropriate. Please note some courses fill up very quickly (Construction, Care) so need to be ‘on it’!!

S1 First Chances (Mr Geissler)
Could any S1 pupils that are involved with First Chances please collect a permission slip from Mr Geissler ASAP. Slips need to be returned by Wednesday (10 January) at the latest.

Addleshaw Goddard – Legal Access Week (12-16 February) (Mrs Davidson)
Applications are currently open for our virtual work experience week happening 12-16 February. This is a great opportunity for S5/S6 students interested in pursuing a career in law to find out more about their options and start to develop key employability skills. Calm Colouring Club (Ms Geddes & Miss Millar)
Colouring has been shown to have multiple positive effects on your mental health, including reducing anxiety and helping your brain and body to relax. If you are looking for a quiet space to enjoy your lunch and do a bit of colouring, then head along to A3 from 1:10pm every Thursday lunchtime. Ms Geddes, Miss Millar and the Mental Health Ambassadors will be there to welcome you.

Upper Strings Ensemble (Mrs Ranieri)
Upper Strings Ensemble will run today at lunchtime in the Music department.
