College applications (Mrs Davidson)
Applications for Sept 2024 go live on Mon 15 Jan. Anyone wishing to apply can come to the library on Monday 15 Jan, Pd 3-5 to apply. S6 should attend during their study periods as appropriate. Please note some courses fill up very quickly (Construction, Care) so need to be ‘on it’!!

First Chances (Mr Geissler)
Could all S1 pupils involved in First Chances please come to B2 (Mr Geissler’s) room at break time today.

Senior Football (Mr Caldwell & Mr I’Anson)
There is a meeting in Mr Caldwell’s room at break today to discuss up coming fixtures.

Girls’ Football (Mrs Steedman)
Can all girls both S1&2 and Senior girls who want to play in upcoming fixtures come to a meeting at break today in the girls gym.

S3 Netball (Mrs Steedman)
Reminder game after school tomorrow against Madras, come down at the end of the day.

Badminton and Basketball Clubs (Mr Harrower)
Badminton and basketball clubs are cancelled after school today and will start again next week.

S1 First Chances (Mr Geissler)
Could any S1 pupils that are involved with First Chances please collect a permission slip from Mr Geissler ASAP. Slips need to be returned by next Wednesday (10th January) at the latest.

Public Speaking Competition – S2 and S3 PUPILS ONLY (Mrs Harrower)
Are you interested in debating and public speaking? I am looking for any S2 or S3 pupils who would like to take part in the Public Speaking Competition 2024. This is against other schools in Fife and then if successful, you can progress to the National final, held at the Parliament in Edinburgh!! See Mrs Harrower in B17/Inclusion Hub if interested as soon as possible.

Fife Festival of Music (Mrs Duckett)
Please could all soloists who have been entered into the Fife Festival of Music return their reply slips to the music department as soon as possible. Make sure your programmes are performance ready! See Mrs Duckett if you have any questions, thanks.

Glee Choir, Wind Band, String Ensemble, Guitar Club are all performing at Fife Festival of Music 2024! If you attend these groups, please collect a letter with information and permission slips from Mrs Duckett today.

Lessons are on today in the Music department.

Chess Club (Dr Black)
Chess club runs Monday lunchtimes in A6, 1:10-1:40pm. Beginners to Grand masters welcome. Collect a lunchtime pass from Dr Black if you would like to come along.

Anime and Manga Club (Miss Kelsey)
Anybody interesting in watching, drawing, and/or reading anime and manga, can now attend the anime and manga club every Monday lunchtime in B29.

S1&2 Girls Football (Mrs Steedman)
Training will begin on Monday 3:30-4:15pm. Absolutely anyone is welcome! Make sure you bring a change of kit with you!

S6 Yearbook (Miss Lipton)
The Yearbook Committee will meet Monday’s after school in D9 from 3:15pm.

TUESDAY 9 JANUARY

Hot Meal: Soup of the day, Pulled pork or pulled jack fruit with rice and pitta bread.

LGBT+ Group (Dr Murray)
The LGBT+ Group meets on Tuesday lunchtime in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science). It is a social space open to EVERYONE whether you are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, any other identity, or an ally of the community. See Dr Murray for a pass if you want to come. Bring your lunch!

Enterprising Maths Club (Mr Jones)
Are you good at maths? Would you like to represent the school in maths competitions? All S1-S4’s are welcome to come Enterprising Maths Club, every Tuesday lunchtime in C3.

KHS Glee Choir (Mrs Duckett & Mr Wilkie)
KHS Glee Choir with Mrs Duckett and Mr Wilkie begins today after school, 3:15pm – 4:15pm in E10. No auditions, anyone who is interested in trying out singing in a show choir is welcome! Songs from all musicals – Disney, Rock, Juke-Box, Book, Class covered! Please see Mrs Duckett for more information.

S2-S3 Netball (Mrs Little)
Netball will run on a Tuesday in the Games Hall from 3:15-4:15pm. Open to all!

Dance Club (Miss Johnston)
Dance club will be on every Tuesday after school from 3:15-4:15pm. Please head to the PE base after school.

S4-S6 Art & Design and Fashion & Textiles Study Support (Mrs Donaldson)
Runs on Tuesdays, 3:15 – 4:30pm in D15.

Biology Study Support (Miss Irvine)
Biology study support for all levels will take place after school every Tuesday from 3:20 – 4:20pm in A1.
