A group of our S2s made the long trip up to Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen to attend their Computer Science Christmas Lectures.

Our budding computer Scientists learned about Cyber Security, how vulnerable unprotected websites are to hacking attempts and that education sites are the most hacked! We also learned that the most cyber attacks are carried out from the USA.

Turning to Artificial Intelligence our young people were told about ChatGPT and how to spot AI generated text. All agreed it was a very worthwhile journey.
