MONDAY 18 DECEMBER

Hot Meal: Soup of the day, Macaroni cheese with garlic bread or Chicken fried rice with curry sauce.

Christmas Concert (Mrs Duckett)
All musicians involved in the Christmas Concert to meet in the assembly hall after tutor on both Monday and Tuesday this week.

Dress Down Day (Dr Murray)
Wednesday will be a “Dress Down Day” in aid of Kirkcaldy Foodbank. The usual rules about no football colours and/or inappropriate clothing apply, but feel free to be as Christmassy as you like! £1 in “tutor” or whatever you can afford.

Senior Football (Mr Caldwell)
Meeting today at break time in D10 for tomorrows game against Bell Baxter.

S1 First Chance (Mr Geissler)
Could all pupils involved in the S1 First Chances Programme meet in Mr Geissler’s room (B2) at break time today.

Survey Research (Melissa, S6)
The survey is about sexism and the experience who might have had on social media and the effect it has had on you as an individual. The information will be used for research. Please can you fill out this form.

S6 URGENT (Miss Lipton)
Reminder to submit your yearbook information ASAP & pay the next instalment to the balance – full payment of £20 due for February.

Lessons are on today in the Music department.

Chess Club (Dr Black)
Chess club runs Monday lunchtimes in A6, 1:10-1:40pm. Beginners to Grand masters welcome. Collect a lunchtime pass from Dr Black if you would like to come along.

Anime and Manga Club (Miss Kelsey)
Anybody interesting in watching, drawing, and/or reading anime and manga, can now attend the anime and manga club every Monday lunchtime in B29.

Basketball & Badminton Club (Mr Harrower)
Basketball and Badminton clubs will start on Monday afterschool in the games hall from 3:15-4:15pm. All pupils in S1-S6 welcome.

S6 Yearbook (Miss Lipton)
The Yearbook Committee will meet Monday’s after school in D9 from 3:15pm.

TUESDAY 19 DECEMBER

12 Days of Science at Christmas (Miss Irvine)
If you are in S1/S2 and are interested in STEM please come along to our Christmas themed Science lunch club every Tuesday lunchtime in A1 up until the Christmas holidays. You will get the chance to carry out mini experiments whilst learning new skills and about careers in STEM. Please collect a lunchtime pass from Miss Irvine in A1 if you would like to come along, passes are on a first come first served basis.

LGBT+ Group (Dr Murray)
The LGBT+ Group meets on Tuesday lunchtime in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science). It is a social space open to EVERYONE whether you are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, any other identity, or an ally of the community. See Dr Murray for a pass if you want to come. Bring your lunch!

Enterprising Maths Club (Mr Jones)
Are you good at maths? Would you like to represent the school in maths competitions? All S1-S4’s are welcome to come Enterprising Maths Club, every Tuesday lunchtime in C3.

KHS Glee Choir (Mrs Duckett & Mr Wilkie)
KHS Glee Choir with Mrs Duckett and Mr Wilkie begins today after school, 3:15pm – 4:15pm in E10. No auditions, anyone who is interested in trying out singing in a show choir is welcome! Songs from all musicals – Disney, Rock, Juke-Box, Book, Class covered! Please see Mrs Duckett for more information.

S2-S3 Netball (Mrs Little)
Netball will run on a Tuesday in the Games Hall from 3:15-4:15pm. Open to all!

Dance Club (Miss Johnston)
Dance club will be on every Tuesday after school from 3:15-4:15pm. Please head to the PE base after school.

S4-S6 Art & Design and Fashion & Textiles Study Support (Mrs Donaldson)
Runs on Tuesdays, 3:15 – 4:30pm in D15.

Biology Study Support (Miss Irvine)
Biology study support for all levels will take place after school every Tuesday from 3:20 – 4:20pm in A1.
