During last summer holidays Liam R (S6), Amy B (S6), Cameron N (S6), Cameron S (S6) went on a Leadership course to develop their communication and leadership skills. This took place at Abernethy outdoor centre.

On this trip we were placed into groups with other students all over the United Kingdom and spent a week with them to work together to complete challenges mentally and physically from in the woods to in the sea and being majorly competitive. This was a pleasure to take part of and I highly recommend for junior students to apply and be a part of. Some of the activities we took part in were raft building, rock climbing, sports, coast steering, and many other activities.

This trip allowed for us all to meet great friends all over the UK which we are all still in contact with. This week we presented our success and enjoyment on the trip in front of the Kirkcaldy Rotary Club who funded us to go. It was a pleasure to meet and spend an evening getting to know the club and their ambitions and hard work throughout the year.
