S3 Parents’/Carers’ Evening In School on Thursday 30 November – PEBS (Mrs Noone)
Instructions will be emailed to Parents’/Carers’ today on how to access the on-line booking system which will go live tonight, Wednesday 15 November at 6:00pm. Bookings close at 11:55pm on Tuesday 28 November.

S4 Destinations – QR Code (Mrs Davidson)
Urgent – can all S4 pupils please complete the QR code for destinations in S4 Team (set by Ms Lipton). This will help support you in future opportunities.

S5 YOUR ED+ (Mr Dick)
The QR code for this has been reactivated until Friday for you to apply for this opportunity if you have any questions see Mr Dick.

S1-S2 UEFA Champions League Futsal (Mr Greenhorn)
There will be no UCL fixture today as Robert (Active Schools Co-ordinator) is on holiday. We will reschedule matchday 4 at a later date – communication will be sent to club managers. Our next UCL fixture is on Wednesday 22 November, 1:15pm.

S3 Boys’ Football Training (Mr Geissler)
S3 boys’ football training after school today. Meet in the PE department for a 3:30pm start. Scottish Shield game next Monday so Let Mr Geissler know if you would like to be considered for selection.

S4/S5 Reach (Miss Nessel)

Anti-bullying Week (Miss Johnston)
This week it is anti-bullying week and us as the Mental Health Ambassadors wish to raise awareness to this, because bullying is a common reason affecting teenagers and causing Mental Health difficulties. All bullying should always be called out and torn down, however this week is dedicated to sharing information and minimising the chances of bullying.

Respectme is an organisation perfect for sharing information about anti bullying, which you can visit using the QR code below. Remember, if you yourself feel you are being bullied, confront a trusted adult. Or, if you don’t wish to tell an adult but it’s affecting your mental health, come find one of us, your Mental Health Ambassadors.

Careers Stall (Mrs Davidson)
There will be a stall at the War Memorial on Thursday 16 Nov at lunch for Foundation Apprenticeships.

Dress Down Day (Mr Caldwell)
The ‘Travel and Tourism’ Class have organised the Dress Down Day on Friday 17 November is in aid of Children in Need, a charity providing support, advice and awareness for any child in need in Scotland. All students will be asked to pay £1 in “Tutor” or whatever you can afford. As you’d expect – no football colours or inappropriate clothing.

Kirkcaldy Food Drive (Mx Donaldson)
Our S4 Personal development class has arranged a food drive to support the Kirkcaldy Food Bank this Christmas. We are collecting food during the dates above if you are able to please hand in any of the following items to reception:

  • Rice
  • Pasta and pasta sauce
  • Canned fruit and veg
  • Canned beans and spaghetti
  • Canned desserts
  • Canned meat and fish
  • Cereal

Calm Colouring Club (Ms Geddes & Miss Millar)
Colouring has been shown to have multiple positive effects on your mental health, including reducing anxiety and helping your brain and body to relax. If you are looking for a quiet space to enjoy your lunch and do a bit of colouring, then head along to A3 from 1:10pm every Thursday lunchtime. Ms Geddes, Miss Millar and the Mental Health Ambassadors will be there to welcome you.
