Remembrance Day 2023 (Mrs Harrower)
The House Captains will be coming around tutors this week to give you an opportunity to donate money for a poppy. Please donate anything you can afford. All money will go to Poppy Scotland.

Glee Choir Rehearsal (Mrs Duckett)
Glee Choir rehearsal is taking place in the hall today P2. This is to rehearse the Remembrance song with the microphones.

Scottish Maths Challenge – All papers due today by lunch (Mr Jones)
Anybody taking part in the Scottish Maths Challenge must have their answers submitted by lunchtime today. Return to C3. If you need more time, you can finish the challenge at lunchtime in C3.

S3 Football (Mr Geissler)
Could all S3 boys interested in playing in the upcoming Fife and Scottish cup matches, please meet in Mr Geissler’s room (B2) at the start of break today.

Iceland Trip (Ms Wallace)
There will be an essential meeting for all those attending the Iceland trip today at break in B10.

S1&2 Girls’ Football (Mrs Steedman)
Can all those playing in the tournament on Monday, please attend a meeting in the girls gym at break today to confirm all the timings details.

Last Inktober Session (Mrs Donaldson)
D15, 1pm on Friday. Please bring your folders, pens & artwork. This will be the last session of the challenge. Please come along even if your works not quite finished.

PE Lost Property (Mrs Steedman)
If you have lost any items of clothing since summer can you please come down to the PE department on Wednesday at lunch to see if you can find any of your items. These clothes will be taken to a charity shop if the owners are not found.

SQA Assessment Survey (Mrs Davidson)
All S5/S6 pupils, please complete the SQA Assessment Survey – link is in your Team.

S5/6 Discover STEM Day at the University of Dundee (Miss Tennant)
Visit the University of Dundee campus and experience some taster sessions in Maths, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Environmental Science and Anatomy & Human Identification. You will also have the opportunity to see the University of Dundee campus during a guided tour with some student ambassadors. This event takes places on Wednesday 15 November 2023, running from 10am – 2.30pm. Places are limited, to attend please register your interest using the link: or see Miss Tennant.

Calm Colouring Club (Ms Geddes & Miss Millar)
Colouring has been shown to have multiple positive effects on your mental health, including reducing anxiety and helping your brain and body to relax. If you are looking for a quiet space to enjoy your lunch and do a bit of colouring, then head along to A3 from 1:10pm every Thursday lunchtime. Ms Geddes, Miss Millar and the Mental Health Ambassadors will be there to welcome you.

Have Lunch with A Hero! (Mrs Brown)
The Hero in question is Milo the Gladiator. Can he escape the clutches of the evil Roman senator? Can he escape Mount Vesuvius errupting? All are welcome to classics film club. Bring your lunch with you to C11. See me for a pass in advance.

KHS Radio Show on K107FM (Dr Murray)
We present a weekly show on Kirkcaldy’s radio station, K107FM every Saturday morning. You could be involved, even if you’re never available on a Saturday! We meet every Friday in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science) to plan the show. Come along and bring your lunch! See Dr M for a lunch/building pass.

KHS D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) Group (Dr Murray/Miss Collins)
The KHS D&D Group meets in D2 (Home Ec) every Friday after school. Take part in exciting adventures and storytelling. It’s all up to the fate of the dice!
