Year group assemblies will take place at the following times on Wednesday 25 October. Please bring your class to the Assembly after they are registered, leaving bags and jackets in the class room.

U14 Boys’ Football (Mr Mooney)
No U14 boys football training afterschool today. For those chosen to play in the Scottish Shield game against Dunfermline, please attend a meeting in B25 at break today.

Senior Football (Mr Caldwell)
Meeting today at break time for anyone who would like to be considered for this Thursdays Fife cup game against Balwearie.

Remembrance Assemblies (Mrs Harrower)
Could all pupils helping with the remembrance assemblies attend a meeting in B17 at lunchtime. Anyone else who would like to help out should come along too.

Dance Club (Miss Kirkwood)
Dance club is cancelled after school today due to an away Netball match, it will continue next week.

S2 First Chances (Dr Black)
On Wednesday (25th October) register in tutor, then meet outside A6 in Science for the trip to St Andrews University.

S1-S2 UEFA Champions League (Mr Greenhorn)
A reminder that our first UCL futsal matches will take place tomorrow in the main games hall at 1:10-1:40pm. Team managers will be emailed today, with fixture details. A printed copy of fixtures will also be on display outside the Active Schools Office.

Paris Trip (Mrs Morris & Miss Coggill)
All pupils who are going on the Paris trip should be aware there is a parent/guardian meeting on Thursday 26 October from 5:00-6:30pm in the Assembly Hall. If anyone’s parents/guardians are unable to go, please make myself or Mrs Morris aware.

S1 Parents’/Carers’ Evening – In School – Wednesday 1 November – PEBS (Mrs Noone)
The parent/carer on-line booking system is open. Booking closes at 11:55pm on Sunday 29 October.

Fife Schools LGBT+ Hallowe’en Party (Dr Murray)
On Sunday 29 October from 11:00am-2:00pm, we are having a Hallowe’en Party with the other Fife School LGBT+ Groups.  It will be at “The Hive” in Kirkcaldy. All are welcome – if you’d like to come along, see Dr Murray in A4 for a permission slip. There will be games, food, and the chance to meet other folk from across The Kingdom! 🎃 🏳️‍⚧️ 🏳️‍🌈

S6 Prom Fundraising (Miss Lipton)
Thanks to everyone who supported the S6 Fundraising during the S4 Parents’ Evening. We managed to raise an amazing £201 for the year which is amazing.

LGBT+ Group (Dr Murray)
The LGBT+ Group meets on Tuesday lunchtime in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science). It is a social space open to EVERYONE whether you are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, any other identity, or an ally of the community. See Dr Murray for a pass if you want to come. Bring your lunch!

Enterprising Maths Club (Mr Jones)
Are you good at maths? Would you like to represent the school in maths competitions? All S1-S4’s are welcome to come Enterprising Maths Club, every Tuesday lunchtime in C3.

KHS Glee Choir (Mrs Duckett & Mr Wilkie)
KHS Glee Choir with Mrs Duckett and Mr Wilkie begins today after school, 3:15pm – 4:15pm in E10. No auditions, anyone who is interested in trying out singing in a show choir is welcome! Songs from all musicals – Disney, Rock, Juke-Box, Book, Class covered! Please see Mrs Duckett for more information.

S2-S3 Netball (Mrs Little)
Netball will run on a Tuesday in the Games Hall from 3:15-4:15pm. Open to all!

S4-S6 Art & Design and Fashion & Textiles Study Support (Mrs Donaldson)
Runs on Tuesdays, 3:15 – 4:30pm in D15.

Biology Study Support (Miss Irvine)
Biology study support for all levels will take place after school every Tuesday from 3:20 – 4:20pm in A1.

National 5 Maths/Apps Study Support (Mr Jones)
Pop along to ask questions, get help with homework or just have a quiet space to study. Every Wednesday lunchtime in C3.

Rights Respecting Schools Group & Ambassadors (Ms Young)
Remember we will be meeting today to work on all the exciting ideas you have come up with, B14 at 1:15pm – come and collect a pass if you don’t already have one.

Guitar club will run today at lunchtime in the Music department.

Equality Group (Dr Murray)
The KHS Equality Group meets every Wednesday lunchtime in A4. Anyone who is interested in any aspect of equality is welcome whether it be age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation. See Dr Murray for a pass. Bring you lunch!

S1 & Senior Netball (Miss Johnston)
S1 and senior netball will be on after school every Wednesday from 3:15-4:15pm.
