Inktober Art Challenge (Mrs Donaldson)
Are you interested in art? Would you like to take part in a drawing challenge? Could you commit to doing a drawing a day in October? Come to D15, Art Department on Friday 29th at 1:15pm for more information about this fun challenge. See you art teacher for a pass. Open to all year groups.
Battlefields Trip 2024 (Mr Harrower)
There will be a meeting on Monday at break in Mrs Harrower’s room (B17) for all S3 pupils going on the Battlefields Trip. Attendance is essential.
S6 UCAS Sign Up (Mrs Sim)
All S6 pupils intending on applying to university for 2024 entry will be starting their UCAS applications on Monday 2 October. Pupils will attend C5 in their house groups at the following times:
Period 6 – Oswald (register with class teacher after lunch)
Period 7 – Carlyle and Adam Smith
This event is intended for pupils who are definitely applying to university. If you are not sure please see your guidance teacher for advice.
Fife Schools LGBT+ Hallowe’en Party (Dr Murray)
On Sunday 29 October from 11:00am-2:00pm, we are having a Hallowe’en Party with the other Fife School LGBT+ Groups. It will be at “The Hive” in Kirkcaldy. All are welcome – if you’d like to come along, see Dr Murray in A4 for a permission slip. There will be games, food, and the chance to meet other folk from across The Kingdom! 🎃 🏳️⚧️ 🏳️🌈

S5/S6 EMA (Mrs Cook)
If you have applied and been approved for EMA, please bring your completed Learning Agreement form to the school office. We cannot proceed with any payments until this has been done. If you have still to apply, please do this as soon as you can. Any applications received by Fife Council after 30 September 2023 cannot be backdated and you will only be paid from the date the application is received. Please remember you also need to make a new application each academic year.

We present a weekly show on Kirkcaldy’s radio station, K107FM every Saturday morning. You could be involved, even if you’re never available on a Saturday! We meet every Friday in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science) to plan the show. Come along and bring your lunch! See Dr M for a lunch/building pass.
KHS D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) Group (Dr Murray/Miss Collins)
The KHS D&D Group meets in D2 (Home Ec) every Friday after school. Take part in exciting adventures and storytelling. It’s all up to the fate of the dice!

Anybody interesting in watching, drawing, and/or reading anime and manga, can now attend the anime and manga club every Monday lunchtime in B29.
Basketball & Badminton Club (Mr Harrower)
Basketball and Badminton clubs will run on Monday afterschool in the games hall from 3:15-4:15pm. All pupils in S1-S6 welcome.
