Suicide Prevention Awareness Month (Miss Johnston)
September is Suicide Prevention Month and us as the Mental Health Ambassadors of KHS wanted to ensure we were doing our part to raise awareness. Suicide prevention month is very important as it helps people that might struggle with suicidal thoughts realize they aren’t alone. It can help connect those who have lost someone to suicide so they can support one another. The month is about supporting individuals who are both directly and indirectly effected by the issue of suicide.

We know opening up is scary. If you need help, struggling with suicidal thoughts and do not feel safe speaking out to someone you know, the QR code will link to resources to help you.
