S6 Assembly on Friday, please register and then come to the Assembly Hall.

S6 – Level 6 First Aid Course (Mrs Hume)
Any S6 young person who would like to complete the Level 6 First Aid course on 22 September should complete the form on the year group Team before next Wednesday.

S6 Duke of Edinburgh Meeting (Miss Wallace)
There is a meeting today at 1:10pm in B10 for those in S6 who have expressed an interest in the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award. If unable to attend speak with Ms Wallace asap.

Shakespeare School Festival (Ms Bruce)
Interested in Drama, Acting and Performing? Are you in S1-S6? Then get involved in the Shakespeare School Festival. The Festival is back and this year we will be performing the Shakespearean comedy “As You Like It”. If you’d like to find out more, our first meeting will take place today after school in Studio 4, 3:20-4:00pm.

S1&S2 Learn to Play Flute (Ms Clark)
Any pupils who would like to learn to play the flute, please come and see Ms Clark in E12 on Friday 8 September at breaktime for more information. See you there!

S1-S2 UEFA Champions League Tournament (Mr Greenhorn)
Our Young Ambassadors and Young Leaders would like to invite any interested S1-S2 boys to take part in our UEFA Champions League competition between September – December. Our tournament will be in 4-a-side futsal format – played during lunchtimes on a Tue/Wed/Thurs. Each team will be able to register up to 6 players to join their club. Each team needs a club manager, who must register their team using our MS-form sign-up: https://forms.office.com/e/tG3AKZRCmE. If you have any questions about our Champions League competition, please come speak to me.

Dance Club (Miss Johnston)
Dance club will be on a Tuesday afterschool from 3:15-4:15pm, come to the PE base afterschool.

Biology Study Support (Miss Irvine)
Biology study support for all levels will take place after school every Tuesday from 3:20 – 4:20pm in A1 starting from next week (12/09/23).

S5/S6 EMA (Mrs Cook)
If you have applied and been approved for EMA, please bring your completed Learning Agreement form to the school office. We cannot proceed with any payments until this has been done. If you have still to apply, please do this as soon as you can. Any applications received by Fife Council after 30 September 2023 cannot be backdated and you will only be paid from the date the application is received. Please remember you also need to make a new application each academic year.

Calm Colouring Club (Ms Geddes & Miss Millar)
Colouring has been shown to have multiple positive effects on your mental health, including reducing anxiety and helping your brain and body to relax. If you are looking for a quiet space to enjoy your lunch and do a bit of colouring, then head along to A3 from 1:10pm every Thursday lunchtime. Ms Geddes, Miss Millar and the Mental Health Ambassadors will be there to welcome you.

KHS Radio Show on K107FM (Dr Murray)
We present a weekly show on Kirkcaldy’s radio station, K107FM every Saturday morning. You could be involved, even if you’re never available on a Saturday! We meet every Friday in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science) to plan the show. Come along and bring your lunch! See Dr M for a lunch/building pass.

KHS D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) Group (Dr Murray/Miss Collins)
The KHS D&D Group meets in D2 (Home Ec) every Friday after school. Take part in exciting adventures and storytelling. It’s all up to the fate of the dice!
