2024 BATTLEFIELDS TOUR! – S2 Pupils (Miss Osborne)
All current S2 pupils who are interested in the KHS Battlefields Tour 2024, are to attend a meeting in Miss Osborne’s room (B17) today at 1:15pm. This is for pupils who have already paid their deposit AND any S2 pupil who is interested in a place on the trip! Do not miss out on this once in a lifetime experience.
Cubing Event (Mrs Duckett)
Monday 15 May in E10 at lunchtime. Solve a 3×3 cube and receive a certificate with your time on! Who knows, KHS may have the next Max Park, Feliks Zemdegs or Dana Yi! Prizes for quickest solves for each year group 🙂 See Mrs Duckett for more information.
DYW Padlet (Mrs Whyte)
A lot of pupils will be looking to gain some work experience, this is a great opportunity to give you a flavour of the world of work and ‘try out’ a profession. If this is something, you are interested in there is a form to complete on the Padlet. There is also a great opportunity for any S5 pupils who are looking to study medicine. For anyone looking to leave school there are a number of vacancies including – apprenticeships in Admin, at Scotrail, Exxon, Babcock and Sky Television advertised. As well as a range of part and full time jobs.

Card Club (Mrs Rae)
Come along to the PSO base at lunchtime to play various card games and make new friends. Maybe your friends are off, and you have nowhere to go or you see yourself as a real “card shark” all are very welcome!
Wind Band (Mrs Simpson)
The Wind Band will take place on Friday lunchtime in E13/Dance Studio.
Health Zone Drop In (Mrs Davidson)
Every Friday lunchtime, the school nurse team run a confidential drop in session. They are situated behind the careers room opposite the main office.
S1 Reading Group (Miss Britton)
S1 Reading Group during Friday lunchtimes in room B23. It’s a chance to practice reading out loud.
Have Lunch with A Hero! (Mrs Brown)
Perseus vs Hades – the rematch! All are welcome to come and see Wrath of the Titans at Classics Film club, in C11. Bring your lunch.

Chess Club (Dr Black)
Chess club will be running on Monday lunchtimes in A6, 1:10-1:40pm. Grand masters in the making, you can learn how to play if you have not played before.
