If you wish to use these rooms can you let Mrs Whyte or Mr Plumridge know in advance.

S6 Hoodies (Mrs Rae)
The deadline for ordering and filling in the order forms is this Friday, this is to ensure that I can get the order away before the holidays and get your hoodies to you as quickly as possible. Please also ensure you come and check the spelling of your name on the list in the PSO base. If there are any issues around that please come and see me straight away. Thank You!

New House System (Mr Spink)
If you would like to join a small group to discuss your thoughts on the new house system, can you please fill in the Form to register your interest.

Change to ‘Out of Class’ Procedure (Mr McKay)
From Monday 20 March 2023 we are changing our procedure for young people leaving / returning to class during the school day.

We are asking any young person who is leaving class for whatever reason to sign out of class / sign back into class. Young people should get permission from the class teacher before leaving class, sign out and take a pass. On return to class, young people should sign back in and return the pass.

For those young people who have an Out of Class pass, they are not required to sign out but should complete the sign out / in sheet on return to class – if appropriate.

This system is to support fairness and consistency across the school whilst ensuring that we can monitor and support young people appropriately.

DYW Padlet (Mrs Whyte)
Following this week’s assemblies all pupils have been shown how to access the DYW Padlet on the school website, which is updated regularly with opportunities including work experience, in school opportunities as well as apprenticeships and job opportunities. REMEMBER – It is good to gain experience as well as qualifications in school to make your CV and applications stand out. If you are looking for something that is not advertised on the Padlet – please see Mrs Whyte who will help out.

Speak to Mrs Whyte if you require any help with applications, finding jobs or want some work experience.
