Kirkcaldy Foodbank (Mrs Morris’ S3 YPI Enrichment Class)
Mrs Morris’ S3 YPI class have had a meeting with Kirkcaldy Foodbank and as a result they have managed to get boxes for donations. We would like the whole school community to get involved. To help support the Foodbank you could donate things like toiletries, tinned foods, chocolate, sweets etc. To donate you should bring your donation into school and drop it off in one of the black crates at the S6 Prefect Base (opposite the main Office). It would mean a lot if you could help our local food bank. Even if you bring in just one thing then a person will have something to eat or something they desperately need. Please leave your donations between now and Monday 19 December. Thanks so much for your support!

S3 STEM Speed Dating (Dr Murray)
Today as part of our Employability week, we will be hosting 20-30 ambassadors from a number of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM) fields. They will be stationed around the hall with groups of folk in S3 given 5 minutes to “grill” them on their lives and careers. it’s always loads of fun and a great opportunity to find out about STEM-related jobs and what they actually entail day to day. Don’t worry, you’ll be given “prompt” questions to help you out if you can’t think of anything to ask. The split in the S3 year group is…

      • P1: Surnames A-C
      • P2: Surnames D-H
      • P3: Surnames I-Mc
      • P4: Surnames Me-R
      • P5: Surnames S-Z

Check in with your usual teacher first before heading to the hall with all your worldly goods and a big smile.
