Pupil Learning Council (Mrs Hamilton)
At Kirkcaldy High School we are keen to give learners the opportunity to have a real say in issues that affect them and to know that their opinions count. Being part of the KHS Learning Council, will allow you to express your opinions and have your views considered in terms of the curriculum and learning, teaching and assessment. We believe that our learners are the experts on how you learn best, and this is your chance to be heard. Being part of the Learning Council will improve your leadership and communication skills and it is a fantastic opportunity to represent your peers in helping to improve our school. The Learning Council is likely to meet a couple of times per month and it is likely to be during lunch time. If you would like to be part of the Learning Council, please scan this QR code and complete a short form by Friday 7 October. There is also a copy of the QR code outside guidance and outside Mrs Hamilton’s office.

DYW Padlet (Mrs Whyte)
Padlet has a few local jobs such as many seasonal workers at the Retail Park if you are looking for a part time job.
S5 pupils are invited to apply for Career Ready – an opportunity to get career input and mentoring from a local business. This will lead to 4 weeks paid employment next summer and the chance to build upon your employability skills. If you are interested, please speak to Mrs Whyte in C13. More information on the padlet.
