Hot Meal: Soup of the day, Breaded fish or Salmon fish fingers and chips or Italian pasta.

Free Soup and Bread – New Location (Mrs Hardie)
The free soup and bread will now be situated in the corner of the Dinner Hall by the fire doors. Baguettes are now sold at the Pre-order area.

Lockers (Mrs Waddell)
Locker keys are now ready for any pupil who has paid for a locker recently. Please come to the reception.

MVP Mentors (Mrs Dempsey)
MVP mentors have to register and then go to the Assembly Hall at tutor today.

Scotland International Matches v Ukraine & Republic of Ireland (Mr I’Anson)
Anyone interested in attending the Scotland International matches v Ukraine and the Republic of Ireland, please attend a meeting today in E2 at break.

Medicine, Dentistry and Vet Med Applicants 2023 (Mrs Sim)
Please can those S6 applying for the above courses for September 2023 entry attend a meeting with Mrs Sim on Friday 2 September at 1:15pm in the Boardroom.

Accountancy (Mrs Whyte)
There is an exciting opportunity for any S4-6 pupils interested in accountancy when they leave school. A local accountant is looking to speak to pupils about routes into the role and hear about what life as an accountant is like. If you are interested can you please speak to Mrs Whyte in C13.

Girls’ Football (Mrs Steedman)
All girls interested in playing for the girls’ school football team can attend training after school on Tuesday 3:30pm-4:15pm.

UCAS Discovery Convention (Mrs Sim)
All S6 will be attending the UCAS discovery convention at the Rothes Halls in Glenrothes on Wednesday 7 September. Coaches will be leaving at 12:15pm from the bus lane and you will return to school before buses leave at the end of the day.

You must ensure you have registered for the event. Most will have done this on the S6 induction day. If you do not have a ticket in your emails, please see Mrs Sim.

If you are in S5 and are considering going to university next year, you may wish to attend this event. If this is the case for you, please see your guidance teacher.

If you require lunch from the dinner hall, please order this either during breakfast club or at interval in order to collect this before you leave. Free soup will also be available.

Consent forms are in your tutor folder. Please return this to Mrs Sim or Mrs Thompson by the end of the day on Friday 2 September.

KHS Radio Show on K107FM (Blake McBride, S6)
Want to gain confidence, tech skills and new opportunities? Are you interested in media (TV and radio)? Come along on Friday lunchtime to talk about our close connection to K107FM – a local radio station. We present a weekly show and you could be part of it! We can slot you in for a future show, whether you want to present or just to come and see the studio. Dr Murray’s room (A4) is the place to be!

S4-S6 Netball (Miss Kirkwood)
If you are interested in a beginner coaching workshop and/or an introduction to umpiring, please come down to the PE notice board to scan the QR code to sign up.

S1 & S2 Netball (Mrs Steedman)
All S1 and S2 girl’s interested in playing netball this year training will be afterschool every Thursday starting this week from 3:30-4:15pm.

Fitzgerald Trust Scheme – 2022/2023 (Mrs Spence)
Application forms are available at reception for S5 and S6 pupils. Closing Date – Friday 9 September 2022.

S5-S6 EMA (Mrs Geddes)
If you have applied and been approved for EMA, please bring you completed Learning Agreement to the school office. We cannot proceed with any payments until this has been done. If you have still to apply, please do this as soon as you can. Any applications received by Fife Council after 30 September 2022 cannot be backdated and you will only be paid from the date the application is received. Please remember you also need to make a new application each academic year.

DYW Padlet (Mrs Whyte)
The DYW Padlet has been updated – there are lots of new opportunities available including apprenticeships in engineering, mechanics, admin and retail. As well as some local part time jobs. We have several events and work experiences coming up – if you need any help with anything work related please speak to Mrs Whyte in C13 or Anne and Eve, the Careers Advisors.

Street Theatre at Fife Pride, Saturday 17 September 2022 (Dr Murray)
Fife Pride are working with Surge Scotland to produce some street theatre performance for the Pride on the Saturday 17 September 2022. This is a really exciting opportunity for ANYONE who has an interest in drama and performance. There’s more info on the Fife Pride website. See Dr Murray if you’re interested!

S2-S4 Music Lunch Club (Mrs Duckett)
This now takes place in E10 every day of the week, except Wednesdays.

Card Club (Mrs Rae)
Come along to the PSO base at lunchtime to play various card games and make new friends. Maybe your friends are off, and you have nowhere to go or you see yourself as a real “card shark” all are very welcome!

Wind Band (Mrs Simpson)
The Wind Band will take place on Friday lunchtime in E13/Dance Studio.
