S5-S6 EMA (Mrs Geddes)
If you have applied and been approved for EMA, please bring you completed Learning Agreement to the school office. We cannot proceed with any payments until this has been done. If you have still to apply, please do this as soon as you can. Any applications received by Fife Council after 30 September 2022 cannot be backdated and you will only be paid from the date the application is received. Please remember you also need to make a new application each academic year.

Washington Trip: Essential Meeting (Miss Young)

All pupils interested in playing in the school football team should attend a meeting at break in the boy’s gym.
Paris Trip (Miss Coggill/Mrs Morris)
Can all pupils who have had a place confirmed on the Paris trip please attend an essential meeting on Monday 29 August, at the beginning of lunch time in C9. Can any pupils who are unable to attend ensure that they make either Miss Coggill or Mrs Morris aware.
Mental Health Ambassadors (Miss Hay)
Our first meeting this year will take place at 1:10pm on 29 August in B6. We have added you to our Microsoft Team so please make sure you can access this as we will send a reminder for the meeting there. If you are going to be late or can’t make it, please also inform us on the Team.
S4-S6 Reach Programme (Miss Nessel)
Are you interested in studying any of the following subjects at college or University once you leave school?
- Economics & Finance
- Management
- Medicine
- Psychology & Neuroscience
If so, you can sign up to the Reach programme with St Andrews University to get subject taster days in these fields and the chance to find out more about what studying these subjects at college or Uni involves. Even if you are not studying subjects linked to these areas right now, you can still up and take part in the events. This is really important when it comes to competitive degrees like medicine.

DYW Padlet (Mrs Whyte)
The DYW Padlet has been updated – there are lots of new opportunities available including apprenticeships in engineering, mechanics, admin and retail. As well as some local part time jobs. We have several events and work experiences coming up – if you need any help with anything work related please speak to Mrs Whyte in C13 or Anne and Eve, the Careers Advisors.
S3-S6 Girls (Mrs Nessel)
If you are interested in Business, Accounting or Finance, we are running a competition where we ask teams of S3/4 and S5/6 girls to investigate companies and decide which ones could become big business in the next few years. You will get to share your findings with industry professionals, and if they like your ideas, you can win vouchers for our school, as well as £250 for each member of the team. You choose your own teams and we can have multiple teams entered. If you want to get involved, come along to an information session on Tuesday 30th to find out more.
Street Theatre at Fife Pride, Saturday 17 September 2022 (Dr Murray)
Fife Pride are working with Surge Scotland to produce some street theatre performance for the Pride on the Saturday 17 September 2022.
