KHS Talent Show (Ellie Ness, S6)
All pupils who have signed up for the KHS Talent Show, please attend auditions today at 1:15pm in the Assembly Hall. If you were unable to sign up but wish to audition then please also come along on Thursday. Any questions please speak to the Senior Leadership Team.

Prefect Meeting (Mrs Davidson)
There will be a Prefect meeting on Friday at tutor in the Dinnerhall. Please register at tutor then come straight to the Dinnerhall.

S6 London Trip 2023 (Mr Sanderson)
Mr Sanderson is organising a trip to London in February 2023 for S6 pupils only. The trip will include visits to parliament, famous attractions and a trip to the Harry Potter Studio tour. If you are interested then please attend a short meeting at break on Friday 24 June in B9 to sign up and to get more information. If you have any questions, then please see Mr Sanderson.

House Captain Announcements (Miss Hay)
Thank you to all those who completed House Captain applications and took part in the interviews! We have been very impressed by your ambition, enthusiasm and ideas. We will announce the successful applicants tomorrow at 1:15pm in B6. If you were invited for an interview this week you must attend this meeting.

Little Shop of Horrors Show Tickets (Mr McPherson)
Tickets for the school show are now available on iPayimpact. Tickets can be purchased by logging into iPayimpact – go to ‘Accounts’ then ‘Shop’. You can then pick up tickets at the school reception. Tickets can also be purchased using cash at the school office in addition to the iPayimpact option. Alternatively you can pick up a ticket on the evening of the show subject to availability. S5/6 Saltire Awards (Miss Lipton)
If you’re looking for opportunities to gain Saltire hours in school, please check the Volunteer Opportunities channel in the Team – there are always teachers, departments & school staff needing a hand! Remember to log your hours at the end of each week for each supervisor through the form on the Team & if you haven’t already signed up make sure you do this ASAP. See Miss Lipton in D9 if you have any questions or for the Teams code.

String group is on today in E13. Please bring your lunch and be ready to play for 1:15pm.

Craft Club will run on a Thursday lunchtime, 1:15-1:40pm in C6.

KHS Radio Show on K107FM (Kirsty Brown, S6)
Are you interested in becoming a radio presenter and presenting on a local radio station? If this sounds like something you seem interested in, then head along to Dr Murray’s Room A4 in science on Thursday at lunch, to find out more information! This is open to all years, we hope to see some new faces!

Rugby (Mr Greenhorn)
Thursday after school from 3:30-4:30pm on the school Astro pitch. This new club is open to all year groups and is being run in partnership with Kirkcaldy Rugby Club. Please bring warm gear and report to the PE dept.

Homework Club (Mrs Patton)
Homework club is on after school on Thursday in C6, 3:20-4:15pm.

FRIDAY 24 JUNE

Wind Band (Mrs Simpson)
Wind Band will run on Friday at lunchtime.

Health Zone (School Nurse)
You can access the confidential drop in service for any reason at all, including support with sexual health and contraception. The nurses also offer mental health support and will “signpost” to other services. This will run today at lunchtime behind Community Use.

Little Shop of Horrors (Ms McMahon)
Puppet making for the Little Shop of Horrors will run at lunchtime in B3.

Have Lunch with A Hero! (Mrs Brown)
All are welcome to come along to C11, with their lunch, to see Homer’s classic story about the hero Odysseus on his monster-filled journey back from the Trojan war!

Club Period (Mrs Rae)
Come to the PSO base either during lunch or after school to collect a bag of sanitary products to take home. At Kirkcaldy High we believe no person should have to pay for these products so save your money to treat yourself and come and get them for free at the PSO base, as well as a range of other hygiene products.
