MONDAY 13 JUNE

Hot Meal: Broccoli soup, Macaroni cheese, garlic bread, vegetables or Quorn Chilli and rice, vegetables.

Prizegiving Rehearsal (Mrs Davidson)
Pupils involved (prize winners and musicians) should register first on Tuesday then go to the Library (prize winners) or Assembly Hall (musicians). Prize winners photo will be at 12:30pm in full uniform. Please arrive promptly.

College/Foundation Apprenticeships (Mrs Davidson)
Most pupils start on Tues 14 June. Please remember to collect bus passes and order your lunch for collection at interval to save time! You will be allowed out of class at 12:45pm but will need to go straight for the buses.

S3-6 Leadership/Volunteering Opportunities (Miss Hay)
You can express interest for the different leadership/volunteering roles we have at KHS this year by scanning the following QR code. Deadline for completing the form is today to allow for application processes to take place in June. After this deadline the staff links for each role will speak to you about the next steps.

#KitForAll collection (Mr Greenhorn)
Today we are accepting donations from pupils, staff, and families of sports clothing, footwear, and equipment. The Active Schools base will be our drop off point for your donation(s). We encourage drop-offs i) during tutor, ii) interval, iii) lunch or iv) after-school. Young Ambassadors will be available to collect your donations.

Little Shop of Horrors (Mr McPherson)
All cast, crew and staff involved in the show should meet tonight afterschool in the Assembly Hall. The meeting will last 30 minutes or less.

S2 Football (Mr Geissler)
S2 who have football training with Mr Geissler tomorrow, meet after school in the PE Department.

CSI Event (Miss Irvine)
Can the Advanced Higher Chemistry and Biology pupils who are attending the CSI event at Fife College next Monday please ensure they have returned their completed permission slips to me in A1 by Thursday morning at the latest.

S1 & S2 Fife Schools Athletics (Miss Kirkwood)
If you have been selected to take part in the Fife Schools Athletics event on Wednesday at Pitreavie could you please hand in your permission slip and medical form to a member of the PE department ASAP otherwise you will not be able to go, thank you.

LGBT+ Groups Disco – MEET ON TUESDAY (Dr Murray)
If you are coming to the LGBT+ Disco on Sunday the 19 June, you MUST come to the LGBT+ group meeting on Tuesday lunchtime.

New S4 Pupils – Lift Off (Miss Nessel)
If you attended either/both of the Lift Off meetings with Abertay recently, you need to fill in an application form to take part this year. This has been emailed home to your parents/carers. However, if you haven’t filled this in yet, come to Miss Nessel’s room (D8) on Wednesday lunch time to complete this.

Little Shop of Horrors Show Tickets (Mr McPherson)
Tickets for the school show are now available on iPayimpact. Tickets can be purchased by logging into iPayimpact – go to ‘Accounts’ then ‘Shop’. You can then pick up tickets at the school reception. Tickets can also be purchased using cash at the school office in addition to the iPayimpact option. Alternatively you can pick up a ticket on the evening of the show subject to availability.

DYW Padlet (Mrs Whyte)
This week on the Padlet there are Apprenticeships in NHS Fife as a Pharmacy Technicians. If you are thinking of a job in medicine there are also upcoming Medicine Open days at St Andrews and Aberdeen; we have school contacts for other experiences. Lots of local businesses are hiring including B & M, Young Spuds, Lidl and in Care roles. Mrs Whyte is happy to help with finding work placements or helping you look for a positive destination when you leave school. There is lots of help there if you are starting to think about what you want to do when you leave school.

Lessons are on today in the music department. You can find your time on Teams or on the department timetable board in E11.

Little Shop of Horrors (Ms McMahon)
Puppet making for the Little Shop of Horrors will run at lunchtime in B3.

TUESDAY 14 JUNE

Hot Meal: Carrot and lentil soup, Pork sausages, chips and salad or Hot chilli chicken wrap and salad.

LGBT+ Group (LGBT+ Committee)
The legendary and amazing LGBT+ Group meets every Tuesday lunchtime in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science) for anyone who wants to have a nice place to sit and enjoy their lunch, get to know other people, make badges and make keyrings. EVERYONE and ANYONE is welcome, hope to see you there!

Craft Club (Mrs Patton)
Craft Club is on after school each Tuesday in C6 from 3:20–4:20pm, all are welcome.

KHS Community Choir (Mrs Duckett)
This will run on Tuesdays after school in the Assembly Hall, 3:15-4:15pm.

Young STEM Leader (Miss Tennant)
Young STEM Leader sessions will take place every Tuesday from 3:15-4:15pm in A7.
