S1 & S2 Workshops (Mr Farquharson)
All S1 and S2 will be receiving a double period workshop this week. We will let you know what class is going what day in the daily bulletin. When it is your turn, please go straight to C4 with your bag.

Scotland v Armenia – Hampden Wed 8 June 2022 (Mr English)
Any pupil who would wish to be considered for the trip must attend a meeting in the girls’ gym at break today to collect Parental Consent Forms.

Paris Trip (Mrs Morris/Miss Coggill)
Can all pupils who missed the Paris trip meeting on Tuesday 24 May, please come along to C9 today to receive further information on the trip.

Sports Day (Miss Steedman)
Well done again to all those who have qualified, you should have attended the meeting or been spoken to by a member of staff from the PE department. If you have forgotten what event you are competing in, then check the display board at the stairs in PE. Reminder to come down at 1:20pm today.

S3 Footballers (Mr Greenhorn)
Capshard Project – Can the 12 S3 boys involved in the Capshard Football project meet at the Active Schools office during break (10:25-10:45am) to have a final briefing ahead of the visit to Capshard PS.

S3 Helpers @ DSF Athletics Championships (Mr Greenhorn)
Consent forms have been emailed out to Parents this morning; these must be completed as soon as possible. A list of the S3 pupils invited to attend this supporting event has been produced. This list will be displayed outside the Active Schools Office. A reminder that the DSF Athletics event is on Thursday 2 June, 9:30am-4:00pm.

S2 First Chances (Mr Spink)
Can all S2 First Chances pupils please make sure they hand in all completed consent forms to Mr Spink as a matter of urgency; it is equally important that you tell him if you do not intend on attending the trip to St Andrews University. Thank you to all who have already done so!

S3 YPI Grand Final – Thursday 9 June (Ms Mahr)
If your YPI group were the class winner for YPI in S3 this year with either Ms Mahr, Mrs Whyte or Mrs Brown, you must see Ms Mahr (room C12) before Wednesday 1 June to sign up for a presentation slot on the day and to nominate 2 or 3 S3’s that would like in the audience to support you on the day. We cannot wait to see all your presentations together and find out who will be winning £3000 for their chosen charity!

Little Shop of Horrors Show Tickets (Mr McPherson)
Tickets for the school show are now available on iPayimpact. Tickets can be purchased by logging into iPayimpact – go to ‘Accounts’ then ‘Shop’. You can then pick up tickets at the school reception. Alternatively you can pick up a ticket on the evening of the show subject to availability.

PEBS for S3 VIDEO Parents’/Carers’ Evening on Wednesday 1 June (Mrs Noone)
The parent/carer on-line booking system is now open. Booking closes at 11:55pm on Tuesday 31 May.

DYW Padlet (Mrs Whyte)
Highlights this week include Apprenticeships in Customer Service, Vehicle Servicing Manufacturing and Social Work. Apprenticeships are an amazing way to learn whilst learning and for many jobs it means you can work your way up in a career without the need for going to University. There are plenty of part time jobs on offer including in Starbucks, Fast and Fresh and Beijing Banquet.

There will be more opportunities for our S1-3 pupils throughout the year too!

Percussion Lessons (Mrs Simpson)
Lessons are on today in the music department. You can find your time on Teams or on the department timetable board in E11.

Little Shop of Horrors (Ms McMahon)
Puppet making for the Little Shop of Horrors will run at lunchtime in B3.

S2 Football (Mr Pennel)
S2 Football will run on Monday afterschool (3:30-4:30pm). Training will be on the Astro so bring appropriate footwear if possible.

TUESDAY 31 MAY

Hot Meal: Carrot and lentil soup, Pork sausages, chips and salad or Hot chilli chicken wrap and salad.

LGBT+ Group (LGBT+ Committee)
The legendary and amazing LGBT+ Group meets every Tuesday lunchtime in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science) for anyone who wants to have a nice place to sit and enjoy their lunch, get to know other people, make badges and make keyrings. EVERYONE and ANYONE is welcome, hope to see you there!

Mental Health Ambassadors (Miss Hay)
Please meet today in B6 at 1:10pm. Feel free to bring your lunch!

Craft Club (Mrs Patton)
Craft Club is on after school each Tuesday in C6 from 3:20–4:20pm, all are welcome.

KHS Community Choir (Mrs Duckett)
This will run on Tuesdays after school in the Assembly Hall, 3:15-4:15pm.

Badminton Club (Mr Harrower)
Badminton club will be on afterschool on Tuesday in the Games Hall (3:15-4:15pm). All pupils from S1-S6 are welcome to attend.

Basketball Club (Mr Harrower)
Basketball club will run on Tuesday afterschool (3:15-4:15pm) in the Games Hall.
