S3 First Chances (Mrs Dempsey)
Can all S3 pupils who are involved in First Chances and intend on going to the summer school on the 2 June, please see Mrs Dempsey in A18 at break today or in the Science base to collect another couple of letters.

S1 Netball (Miss Kirkwood)
Could all S1 girls who are interested in playing in the Netball Tournament next Tuesday please come to a meeting outside the PE classroom at break time today (Thursday). If you cannot attend please come and see Miss Kirkwood ASAP to ensure you get a letter regarding this.

S1 Football (Mr Pennel)
Any footballers interested in playing in the Fife Dave Garland 7’s tournament should attend a meeting a break in the boys’ gym.

S2 First Chances (Mr Spink)
Can all pupils involved in S2 First Chances please attend a further meeting tomorrow (Fri 20 May), at the start of Break (10:25am), in C14. It is vital that you attend for information about the upcoming trip to St Andrews. If, for any reason, you do not believe you will make it, make sure to go and see Mr Spink ASAP.

PEBS for S3 VIDEO Parents’/Carers’ Evening on Wednesday 1 June (Mrs Noone)
The parent/carer on-line booking system is now open. Booking closes at 11:55pm on Tuesday 31 May.

Paige Dougall Memorial Mural (Mrs Gillian Wood, PSO)
The Serenity Garden team are planning to have a mural painted next to the Serenity Garden in memory of Paige Dougall. If you have any ideas/suggestions or want to be part of the decision-making process, please see Gillian in the PSO base by the end of this week.

S1-S3 Extra-curricular Rugby (Mr Greenhorn)
Our rugby session with Danny from Kirkcaldy Rugby Club will restart this Thursday (after-school). Please make sure you bring the correct kit/footwear with you for the session. Sessions will take place on the Astro or the grass fields.

DYW Padlet (Mrs Whyte)
Our Padlet has been updated with lots of new activities. Including local jobs, apprenticeships and experiences. Highlights include apprenticeships Harland and Wolf, Fife Council FD Legal Ltd Donaldson Timber. If there is nothing that suits your career aspirations please let Mrs Whyte and she will try to help you out!

KHS Radio Show on K107FM (Kirsty Brown, S6)
Are you interested in becoming a radio presenter and presenting on a local radio station? If this sounds like something you seem interested in, then head along to Dr Murray’s Room A4 in science on Thursday at lunch, to find out more information! This is open to all years, we hope to see some new faces!

Calm Colouring (Mrs Dempsey)
Every Thursday (at lunchtime) in A18. Bring your own mindful colouring books or borrow from my collection. Feel free to bring your lunch.

Homework Club (Mrs Patton)
Homework club is on after school on Thursday in C6, 3:20-4:15pm.

Wind Band will run on Friday at lunchtime.

Health Zone (School Nurse)
You can access the confidential drop in service for any reason at all, including support with sexual health and contraception. The nurses also offer mental health support and will “signpost” to other services. This will run today at lunchtime behind Community Use.

Little Shop of Horrors (Ms McMahon)
Puppet making for the Little Shop of Horrors will run at lunchtime in B3.

Have Lunch with A Hero! (Mrs Brown)
All are welcome to come along to C11, with their lunch, to see Homer’s classic story about the hero Odysseus on his monster-filled journey back from the Trojan war!

Club Period (Mrs Rae)
Come to the PSO base either during lunch or after school to collect a bag of sanitary products to take home. At Kirkcaldy High we believe no person should have to pay for these products so save your money to treat yourself and come and get them for free at the PSO base, as well as a range of other hygiene products.
