Hot Meal: Carrot and coriander soup, Breaded fish or salmon fish fingers, chips, peas or beans or Chicken peri peri and rice, chips and salad.

Tutor Next Week (Mr Allan)
Tutor is extended all of next week, with Period 1 starting at 9am. This is to allow for a special focus on MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK – a very important initiative.

S1 & S2 Girls’ Football (Miss Steedman)
Meeting today at break in the PE classroom about an upcoming friendly match.

Scotland v Ukraine (Mr English)
If you have been issued a slip during tutor this morning, please meet in the Girls’ Gym at break today.

Our Girls Can (Miss Hay)
We will be having a quick meeting for everyone at break today in B6. Please arrive promptly.

Health Zone (School Nurse)
You can access the confidential drop in service for any reason at all, including support with sexual health, emotional health and wellbeing and drug and alcohol advice. The nurses also offer mental health support and will “signpost” to other services. This will run today at lunchtime behind Community Use.

S2 First Chances (Mr Spink)
Can all S2 First Chances pupils please attend a meeting on Monday 9 May, at start of Break, in room C14 (Mr Spink). It is important that you attend as you will receive details and documents for a trip.

S1 VIDEO Parents’/Carers’ Evening – Tuesday 17 May – PEBS (Mrs Noone)
The parent/carer on-line booking system is now open. Booking closes at 11:55pm on Monday 16 May.

Street Theatre at Fife Pride 2022 (Dr Murray)
Fife Pride are working with Surge Scotland to produce some street theatre performance for the Pride on the 2 July 2022. This is a really exciting opportunity for ANYONE who has an interest in drama and performance. There’s more info on the Fife Pride website. See Dr Murray if you’re interested!

DYW Padlet (Mrs Whyte)
There are a lot of apprenticeships on offer! Early Years Officer, Mechanic, Labourers and Engineering to name a few! A few pupils are starting to look at getting part time jobs. First step is to write a CV – there is advice on the Padlet for this. The Careers Advisors and Mrs Whyte are happy to help you with this!

Puppet making for the Little Shop of Horrors will run at lunchtime in B3.

Have Lunch with A Hero! (Mrs Brown)
All are welcome to come along to C11, with their lunch, to see Homer’s classic story about the hero Odysseus on his monster-filled journey back from the Trojan war!

Club Period (Mrs Rae)
Come to the PSO base either during lunch or after school to collect a bag of sanitary products to take home. At Kirkcaldy High we believe no person should have to pay for these products so save your money to treat yourself and come and get them for free at the PSO base, as well as a range of other hygiene products.

Basketball club will run on Monday afterschool (3:15-4:15pm) in the Games Hall.

S2 Football (Mr Pennel)
S2 Football will run on Monday afterschool (3:30-4:30pm). Training will be on the Astro so bring appropriate footwear if possible.
