THURSDAY 27 JANUARY

Hot Meal: Broccoli soup, Pasta bolognaise, garlic bread and salad or Cheese and tomato pizza and salad.

Extended Tutor (Miss Osborne)
Tutor will be extended until 9:10am. At this time, your tutor teacher will play the Holocaust Memorial Assembly 2022.

Out of bounds areas/Toilets (S Hamilton)
This is a reminder for all learners that the upper floors of the school are out of bounds before tutor and at break and lunch. Learners who are persistently caught in these out of bounds areas will be issued with a detention.

Please also ensure that you go to the toilet before tutor, at break and at lunch so that you are less likely to need to go to the toilet during class time. If you do need to go out of class then please make sure that you get an out of class pass from your teacher. Learners who are caught out of class without a pass will be returned to their class immediately.

U15 Football (Mr English)
All boys who wish to be considered for the Fife Cup tie on Monday 31 January must attend a meeting in the Boys’ Changing room at break today.

Chemistry Study Support (Dr Black)
Chemistry study support is not happening today.

Our Girls Can (Miss Hay)
The Our Girls Can group will meet today after school 3:15-4:00pm. Bring your PE kit and meet in B6!

Puppet Making for Little Shop of Horrors (Ms McMahon)
Calling all budding puppeteers. I need a team of creative crafty engineering types to help me with the Audrey II puppets for The Little Shop of Horrors. We need to make 4 puppets ranging from small hand puppets to massive man-eating sized puppets. If you fancy putting your design and engineering skills to work come and see me in B3 to register your interest.

Raspberry Pi Club (Miss Nessel)
Due to Mr Davidson-Kelly being absent, we will be cancelling the Raspberry Pi club for this session. Apologies to those of you who have shown an interest, we will try again next year.

Bowling with LEAP Sports (Dr Murray)
February is LGBT History Month and to mark that LEAP Sports have organised a bowling competition on Sunday 20 February at Tenpin Falkirk. It’s for aged 14+ – if you fancy being part of it see Dr Murray in A4!

Junior House Captain (Miss Hay)
We have an exciting leadership opportunity for S3 to become Junior House Captains. The role will involve working with our S6 House Captains to plan house events/competitions until Easter and then taking on a lead role during study leave. If you are interested, please speak to your relevant House Leader to find out more and pick up an application form. (Adam Smith – Miss Lipton (D9), Carlyle – Miss Steadman (PE) and Oswald – Miss Hay (B6)).

KHS Radio Show on K107FM (Kirsty Brown, S6)
Are you interested in becoming a radio presenter and presenting on a local radio station? If this sounds like something you seem interested in, then head along to Dr Murray’s Room A4 in science on Thursday at lunch, to find out more information! This is open to all years, we hope to see some new faces!
