Mrs Kendrick’s Replacement (J Davidson)
As you may know Mrs Kendrick will be going on maternity leave at Xmas. Following interviews, we are delighted to announce Ms Osborne will be her replacement. Mrs Kendrick is still working and available via email – just speak to Mrs Davidson or another guidance teacher if you have any queries. Ms Osborne will be starting to get involved directly with pupils soon where possible.

Little Shop of Horrors (Miss Steedman)
If you are interested in helping behind the stage, moving props, setting up scenes and arranging set could you please attend a meeting outside the PE classroom today at break.

Junior Science Club – Group B (Hanna and Hassan, S5)
Science club is on today in A5 for group B. We start at 1:15pm and please make sure to arrive on time so we can complete the experiment. If you are unsure what group you are in, the list is posted outside of A5.

S2 Industrial Cadets STEM Project (Miss Tennant)
We are looking for S2 pupils who are interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM), to take part in this year’s Industrial Cadets Project. A team of 6 pupils will spend 12 weeks partnered with industry to complete a STEM challenge. By taking part you will achieve two prestigious awards, The Industrial Cadet Bronze Award, and a Young STEM Leader Award. Science Research Placements (Dr Murray)
Dr Murray has an opportunity for folk in S5 to spend some time during the summer working in REAL science/engineering labs. This would obviously be a great opportunity for anyone looking to study Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths subjects beyond school. See Dr Murray if you’re interested! S1/S2 Pantomime Trip – Jack and the Beanstalk (Ms Bruce)
It’s nearly Pantomime time! The trip will take place next Wednesday 15 December. Outside Studio 4 is a list of pupil names and where you should register for the bus on Wednesday morning. On Wednesday you should quickly register with your normal tutor and then head along to the room mentioned on the list. If you have any questions, please ask.

KHS Radio Show on K107FM (Kirsty Brown, S6)
Are you interested in becoming a radio presenter and presenting on a local radio station? If this sounds like something you seem interested in, then head along to Dr Murray’s Room A4 in science on Thursday at lunch, to find out more information! This is open to all years, we hope to see some new faces!

Chemistry Study Support is on 3:15-4:15pm in A6. All levels welcome – bring your problems and have them sorted!

“Release the KRAKEN!!” All are welcome to come and see the remake of the Clash of the Titans at Classics Film club, in C11. Bring a packed lunch and see the hero Perseus in action.
