Enjoy the Holidays (D Allan)
Congratulations everyone. Together we’ve made it through a very difficult term. Thanks for all your cooperation with the rules (masks, testing etc). Please make sure that next term you have your own reusable cloth mask which you bring to school every day.

Some good news. Rule changes mean that we will be able to bring back “tutor time” to give everybody a good, settled routine start to each day. We’ll be doing that from Monday 16 November and you will get more information right after the holidays. You will also receive another box of LFT kits on return. Please remember to take a test on Sunday 24 October. Until then, have a great holiday, you have earned it. Mr Allan.

Discrimination in School (Miss Fotheringham)
The guidance team would like to gather your views on the amount of discriminatory language that you hear in school, the type of discrimination and whether you know what to do when you hear it. Please scan this QR code to take part, and be as honest as you can. The survey is anonymous but does ask for some information about you. Thank you for your participation.

Little Shop of Horrors (Mr McPherson)
Look out for audition timetables going up outside Mr McPherson’s room and in the Music department. Remember auditions are on the first week back. Any backstage people should wait for their team leader to get in touch next term. If you still want to sign up for auditions, see Mr McPherson today on the first Tuesday back after the holidays.

LGBT+ Social (LGBT+ Committee)
We will be having an LGBT+ Social on Sunday 7 November 10:00am-2:00pm here at KHS. This is an opportunity to meet folk involved in LGBT+ and Equality Groups from schools around Fife. Food will be available and ALL ARE WELCOME! See Dr Murray if you’re interested! 🏳️‍🌈

KHS Community Choir (Mrs Duckett)
KHS Community Choir is BACK at LAST! Rehearsals will take place in the HALL after school on Tuesdays, commencing on Tuesday 27 October, 3:15pm-4:15pm. Community Choir is open to everyone in the KHS community who enjoys singing: staff and pupils. No auditions. We’ll be rehearsing some classics and preparing for Remembrance & Christmas performances! Please see Mrs Duckett for more info and turn up at the first rehearsal, prompt! Veeeery eeeeexcited!
