University Applications – September 2022 Entry (Miss Fotheringham)
Could those pupils in S5/6 who are applying to university for September 2022 entry please scan the QR code on the posters around the school. This will take you to a MS form to register for the in-school UCAS sign up session on Tuesday 5 October periods 4/5.

S6 Yearbook Committee (Mrs Czudek)
If you would like to be part of the yearbook committee the first initial meeting will be today at the beginning of break in E5 (CDT department). Make sure you come along if you want to be involved.

Mental Health Ambassadors (Miss Hay)
If you have already signed up to be a Mental Health Ambassador our next meeting is today in B6. Bring your lunch with you. We look forward to seeing you there!

Guitar/Bass Guitar Club (Mrs Simpson)
Guitar/bass guitar club starts today in E13. Any pupils who receive lessons in, or out with school are welcome to attend. Bring you lunch and be ready to play for 1:15pm. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Music Video (Mrs Duckett)
Never Gonna Give You Up! Do you want to be involved in a ‘Rick Astley’ Music Video playing this classic tuuuune on keyboards?! Collect the keyboard music from Mrs Duckett this week. Recordings will take place before the October break and edited over the holidays.

Guitar Lessons (Mrs Simpson)
Lessons are on today in the music department. You can find your time on Teams or on the department timetable board in E11.

Keyboard Group (Mrs Simpson)
Keyboard group is on today in E10 with Mr Duncan.

S1-S3 Maths Homework Support (Mr Jones)
Maths homework club with Mr Jones will run weekly every Wednesday lunchtime (1:15-1:40pm) for pupils in S1 to S3. Grab your lunch first and come along to C3 for homework support.

Craft Club (Mrs Patton)
Craft Club will run on a Wednesday lunchtime, 1:10pm in C19.

Equalities Group (Ms Mahr)
Are you interested in making the lives of others better? Can you help give a voice to certain issues? Do matters of race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability etc. interest you? If you are interested in tackling these issues, please come along and meet the Equalities Group on Wednesday lunchtimes at 1pm (bring your lunch) in C12! Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you all!

S4-6 Senior Netball (Mrs Little)
Senior netball will run on Wednesday after school in the Games Hall from 3:15-4:30pm. All new and experienced players welcome.

Biology Study Support (Miss Irvine)
Biology study support will now be running every Wednesday after school from 3:30-4:30pm in A1. It is welcome to all S3-S6 Biology students. Hope to see some of you there!

KHS Radio Show on K107FM (Kirsty Brown, S6)
Are you interested in becoming a radio presenter and presenting on a local radio station? If this sounds like something you seem interested in, then head along to Dr Murray’s Room A4 in science on Thursday at lunch, to find out more information! This is open to all years, we hope to see some new faces!

S1/S2 Science Club (Hanna and Hassan, S5)
There is a Science Club for S1-S2 running every Thursday. Come along to do some cool science stuff that you might not usually do in class. We meet at 1:15pm in A5 (Mr Dick’s room).

Chemistry Study Support (Dr Black)
Chemistry Study Support is on 3:15-4:15pm in A6. All levels welcome – bring your problems and have them sorted!
