TUESDAY 21 SEPTEMBER

Hot Meal: Leek and potato soup, Chicken tikka and rice, naan bread and vegetables or Beef/Vegetable burger, coleslaw and salad.

Flu Vaccination (Mrs Hardie)
Could all senior pupils who have handed in their flu vaccination consent letters come to the Assembly Hall this morning to pick up their appointment slip:

S4 – Period 1
S5/6 – Period 2

COVID Vaccinations – Opportunity for S5/6 Pupils (J Davidson)
Any 16/17 year who has not been vaccinated is able to attend a mobile unit this afternoon at the Astro car park. Please take up the offer to keep everyone safe! Staff – please ‘manage’ pupils who wish to attend e.g. letting some pupils out and waiting until they return before letting others out.

Timings as follows:
S6 – 2-3pm
S5 – 3-4:30pm

Any staff member who is still to have their second vaccination can also attend.

Senior Pupils – Medicine at St Andrews Online Session – Tuesday 21 September at 7pm (Mr Paterson)

Anyone who received a Waterstones voucher for Prizegiving has an extended time to spend it now – deadline now 15 Oct.

RAF “Access All Areas” (Dr Murray)

Girls’ football is cancelled Tuesday after school.

Badminton Club (Mr Harrower)
Badminton Club is cancelled after school today.

Junior Science Club (Hanna and Hassan, S5)
Due to the overwhelming popularity of our first meeting we have decided to split the club into and “A” and “B” group. Group A will be the next but you will all do the same experiments. There will be a sign-up sheet outside the Science Staff Base later today. Please make your preferences known by Tuesday morning!

Upper and Lower String Lessons (Mrs Simpson)
All upper and lower string lessons are back up and running. Please see Teams for your time or come see Mrs Simpson in Music.

LGBT+ Group (LGBT+ Committee)
The legendary and amazing LGBT+ Group meets every Tuesday lunchtime in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science) for anyone who wants to have a nice place to sit and enjoy their lunch, get to know other people, make badges, and (new for 2021!) make keyrings. EVERYONE and ANYONE is welcome, hope to see you there!

Homework Club (Mrs Patton)
Homework club will be running each Tuesday in C6 from 3:20-4:20pm for all year groups, all subjects.

S1 Football (Mr Pennel)
S1 football will run on Tuesday afterschool (3:30-4:30pm). Training will be on the grass so bring appropriate footwear if possible.

WEDNESDAY 22 SEPTEMBER

All guitar lessons are back up and running. Please see Teams for your time or come see Mrs Simpson in Music.

S1-S3 Maths Homework Support (Mr Jones)
Maths homework club with Mr Jones will run weekly every Wednesday lunchtime (1:15-1:40pm) for pupils in S1 to S3. Grab your lunch first and come along to C3 for homework support.

Craft Club (Mrs Patton)
Craft Club will run on a Wednesday lunchtime, 1:10pm in C19.

Equalities Group (Ms Mahr)
Are you interested in making the lives of others better? Can you help give a voice to certain issues? Do matters of race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability etc. interest you? If you are interested in tackling these issues, please come along and meet the Equalities Group on Wednesday lunchtimes at 1pm (bring your lunch) in C12! Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you all!

S4-6 Senior Netball (Mrs Little)
Senior netball will run on Wednesday after school in the Games Hall from 3:15-4:30pm. All new and experienced players welcome.
