Rector’s Video Message (D Allan)
Please stand by for a “whole school” video message to be shared by Mr Allan during class time this week. With no assemblies, it’s important that we have a shared understanding of what matters in KHS, how we do things and a reminder of some of our basic rules. More details tomorrow.
S6 House Captain Interviews (Miss Osborne)
House Captain interviews will take place this week. We are looking to appoint 2 House Captains and 2 Deputy-House Captains for each house. Dates and times of the interviews are now displayed outside Mrs Davidson’s office. If you cannot make your interview date/time, speak to your House Leader as soon as possible. S6 Adam Smith House Captain Applicants (Mr Sanderson)
All Adam Smith S6 House Captain applicants are to attend a short meeting in B9 with Mr Sanderson on Tuesday (7 September) at interval. If you are unable to attend, please see Mr Sanderson or Miss Lipton.
Basketball Club (Mr Harrower)
Basketball club will be on afterschool today in the Games Hall from 3:15-4:15pm. All pupils from S1-S6 are welcome to attend.
S2 Football Team (Mr Pennel)
S2 football training will start today from 3:30-4:30pm. Training will be on the grass so bring appropriate footwear if possible.
Ski Trip – Austria 2023 (Mr Stewart)
This trip is open to current S1 to S5 pupils who will be attending school next academic year. If you would like to find out more about this trip, please collect an information letter on Tuesday 7 September at the tennis courts during interval.

LGBT+ Group (LGBT+ Committee)
The legendary and amazing LGBT+ Group meets every Tuesday lunchtime in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science) for anyone who wants to have a nice place to sit and enjoy their lunch, get to know other people, make badges, and (new for 2021!) make keyrings. EVERYONE and ANYONE is welcome, hope to see you there!
