Welcome Back and Best Wishes (D Allan)
I hope had a lovely summer break and are looking forward to a successful year ahead in KHS. The secret of success is to always try your best, learn from your mistakes and get on well with others in school, following teacher instructions at all times. Right now we also need to be wearing face masks around the building, following all the hygiene rules, keeping 2m away from adults and taking a Covid test twice a week. Unfortunately, we can’t have assemblies right now but these will start up again as soon as possible. At these, we’ll discuss our core KHS values of Respect for Self, Respect for Others and Respect for Learning. All the best from your Rector!

S6 Study Periods (J Davidson)
Pupils with study periods on their timetable, should use the library at the moment. Some periods may be allocated to Saltire hours in due course but this will be sorted over the next week or so. Periods in the library will be used for study.

S6 Primary Schools (J Davidson)
Anyone who has a study column and is interested in helping in a local primary school, should add their name to the list outside my office. I am hoping to get this organised over the next week or two. This will be Saltire Hours.

Mr Irwin the new guitar teacher starts today so all guitar lessons are back up and running. Please see Teams for your time or come see Mrs Simpson in Music.
