S3 First Chances (Mr Dick)
Can all S3 First Chances pupils please attend a short meeting at interval today in A5. It is essential that you attend.

Mental Health Ambassadors (Miss Hay)
We are looking to appoint more mental health ambassadors for next year to be able to support the wellbeing of our school community. Alongside community education we will be providing a fantastic training programme which can lead to different awards/qualifications. If you are currently in S2-S5 with an interest in learning how to support each other’s mental health, then come to an information session in the IT suite next Wednesday 9 June at lunch – feel free to bring your lunch as we will start at 1:10pm. If you have any questions or would like to put your name forward prior to this please see Miss Hay, Miss Fotheringham or Mrs Kendrick.

Young STEM Leader Programme (Dr Murray)
If you are in S4-S6 and are interested in becoming a “Young STEM Leader” then pay Dr Murray a visit. We’re putting together some STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) activities for S1-2 in the last couple of weeks of term and you could help if you want to and are available!

Job Vacancies ( J Davidson)
Any S5/6 pupil looking for part time work should take their CV to Greens, St Clair St, Kdy (formally Loco). There are several vacancies for evening/weekends/holiday work in the shop floor, Subway and Desserts. Be quick!

S4/5 Pupils – Foundation Apprenticeship in Accountancy – Level 6 (J Davidson)
Fife College run this course which includes the industry recognised AAT certification that would normally cost £1100 if pupils wished to study this out with this qualification. This is offered as a 1 year S6 programme; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Afternoons or an S5 2 year programme Monday and Wednesday afternoons. This can be studied on-line or in campus, transport is provided both ways. Click here for the link.

TODAY’S STANDING NOTICES

Have Lunch with a Hero… (Mrs Brown)
Classics Club will run Wednesday lunchtime. Feel free to bring your lunch and come along to C11 to watch Greek and Roman heroes do battle! Starting this week – Percy Jackson 2, the Sea of Monsters.

Italian Club (Mrs Morris)
Italian Club will run every Wednesday lunch time from 1:15-1:45pm in C9. Bring your lunch along with you and learn some new Italian words and phrases.

Spanish Study Support (Mr Spink)
Mr Spink will host an additional slot during Wednesday lunchtime, from 1:10pm in C14.

English Homework Club (Mrs Patton)
Mrs Patton will be running a homework club every Wednesday after school from 3:20pm – 4:20pm. This is open to all pupils, please come along to C6.

Study Support Fashion & Textiles/Art & Design (Mrs Donaldson)
N5 & Higher Study Support with Mrs Donaldson on Wednesdays at 3:15-5pm in D15.
