S4-S6 Tracking Reports (S Hamilton)
S4-S6 Tracking reports have either been emailed to parents/carers yesterday or will be emailed to them today. A copy of the tracking report will also be emailed to your Glow email account, so please check your emails later today. This report is intended to give you an indication of your progress towards your SQA certification at this current time. Your teachers have based working grades on evidence that they have gathered prior to Christmas plus any work you completed during lockdown. These grades can obviously go up or down and the more work you put into preparing for your assessments, the higher chance you will have of improving your grades. There is also recommended changes to presentation for some learners eg. moving from Nat 5 to Nat 4 for example. Parents/Carers have until Wednesday 23 April to contact the school, should they have any issues with the recommended changes.

YPI Winners from S3 & S4 (Ms Mahr)
If you are currently in S3 or S4 and won your YPI class final with either myself, Mrs Whyte, Miss Devenney or Mr Mitchell, could you please come see me by Friday 30 April so we can organise how you can be part of the virtual grand final in June 2021 and potentially win your chosen charity £3000! Please come see me at break or lunchtime in C12, thanks!

S6 Prom (Mr Fulton)
Unfortunately, the decision has been made to cancel the prom once again. While the current situation is improving, it is very unlikely to be the case that the restrictions will have improved enough in 8 weeks time for over 100 people to gather legally and safely in such close proximity. The decision has been taken now in the hope that no one has begun preparations too soon. As well as yourselves, we are also keen to give the venue enough notice too. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to get in touch.

Ramadan 2021 (KHS Equalities Group)
Ramadan Kareem KHS! We would like to support everyone observing Ramadan this year. We realise Ramadan can be a difficult yet reflective time for Muslims so we would like to offer you a little bit of a sanctuary using Ms Mahr’s room in the first instance! If you need some quiet time for reflection or just need some time away from the food in the dinner hall, please head up to C12 during lunch and break for the duration of Ramadan and Ms Mahr will help you out! You are more than welcome to bring friends who are not fasting as well.

If any pupils feel as though they would like to pray starting from Thursday 15 April there will be a room available. The room is located next to Mr Allan’s office, where the operations room is. If you walk into there and instead of walking straight you turn to your second right, there is a small room where a prayer mat will be laid out and there is a sink to do wudhu as well. There will also be tasbih’s and Surah Yaseen available too. If anyone can’t find the room or has any questions, please ask Ramiza (S5) or Alisha (S2), thanks!
