We have regular Parent Groups run by our Intensive Support Worker.

 

 

 

 

 

Our Intensive Support Worker (ISW) supports families with a little more focus on home than class staff are able to. They also provide social opportunities for parents and families. Parent Group is a monthly get together for all of our parents, carers and families to attend. This  provides  an opportunity to meet, chat and make friends and connections with other pupils’ families in a relaxed environment. Also on occasions we invite professionals and other organisations to attend to share information on services that could be beneficial to our families. The ISW plan and lead the group, but the focus of each one is decided by those who attend, through consultation.

These sessions are held during the day but there is also opportunity to attend evening sessions for those who would prefer.

 

Dates for Parent Group:

Our Intensive Support Workers will be out of class on Mondays and Thursdays next session, with this in mind we have set dates for the general group on Mondays and for activities on Thursdays. Of course, this may change as we go along.

Guy’s Group – we have listened to your feedback and instead of a group, we are going to organise activities, based on the suggestions you have made. These dates will be set up and shared term to term.
