Inverkeithing Primary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

The Inverkeithing Primary School Parent Teacher Association meets on a monthly basis within the school community lounge. Any parent or carer with children at the school can attend these meetings.

Do ask at the office when the next PTA meeting is scheduled.

The aim of our group is to engage in activities which take on the social and fundraising elements , which in turn will support additional educational/support requirements that the school may have.

Since last year we have raised funds via our main School fairs at Summer and Christmas time and also through raffles as well as successfully seeking support for funding through local and national charitable funding.

Can you help?

We would be very grateful for donations of raffle or tombola prizes. Any donations gratefully received – just hand into the school office around the time of the event. Dates for these can be found on our school app.

These events have enabled us to supply additional items which would have otherwise not been possible within the normal school budget, including playground furniture, digital cameras and Numeracy resources.

Recent Meetings:

The group met on 13/9/23 and have the following events planned for the remainder of 2023:

Halloween Disco!

• 30th October 2023
• P1-P3 = 4:15-5:30
• P4-P7 = 5:45-7pm
• Tickets sold weeks beginning 2/10/23 and 23/10/23
• Children will receive a goodie bag at the end of the disco
• Drinks will be available during the disco
• Costumes encouraged but please leave accessories at home

Christmas 2023!

• Christmas Fayre – 24th November 2023 between 2pm and 3:30pm. Families welcome to attend, picking their child up from class from 2pm
• P1 children will create a fundraising Christmas tea towel
• Children in all classes will create fundraising Christmas cards which can be purchased by families.

New Sports Kits for IPS

The PTA are looking into purchasing new sports kits for our school to replace our existing strips used for team sporting events.
