Systems

  • There should be a clear system in place for recording and reporting discriminatory incidents which is communicated to all partners.
  • All bullying incidents or other Equalities related incidents should be recorded on SEEMIS using the Bullying and Equalities Module.
  • All staff should be aware who has responsibility for equality within the school and how to access support and advice.

Remember that while reporting is important, ensuring appropriate action in response to incidents is of equal significance. It will also encourage continued use of the reporting systems.
