Welcome to Duloch Primary School and Nursery

Session 25/26

Our school and nursery provide a supportive learning community where experiences are engaging, purposeful, and relevant to children’s lives. We strive to create a welcoming, positive atmosphere in which every child can grow, learn, and thrive in a safe, secure, and nurturing environment.

This year at Duloch Primary we have sixteen classes and a large nursery of up to 160 places for 3 and 4 year olds. We also have an outdoor nursery, situated in the Calaiswoods.

Our values shape who we are as a school community. They guide how we learn, how we treat one another and how we support every child to thrive. By weaving our values into daily school life, we help children develop strong character, positive relationships and a real sense of belonging.

We make sure our values are recognised and celebrated, so children feel proud of the choices they make and understand the difference their actions can have.

Our Setting

Duloch Primary and Nursery School opened in 2007 and along with Calaiswood School, Duloch Leisure Centre and a Public Library makes up Duloch Community Campus.

We currently serve an area of residential housing bordering Greenshanks Drive as well as an area to the left of Aberdour Road.

There is a large public park and woodland area nearby, part of which is fenced off for some pupils to have supervised access to grass. There is also an Astroturf pitch for planned sports events.

Duloch Primary School also benefits from access to facilities in the adjoining Community and Leisure Centre and Public Library where there are large sports halls, dance studios and a theatre.

Another aspect of our shared campus is that we work closely with staff and pupils at the adjoining Calaiswood School, which accommodates young people with additional support needs.
