Achievements

All adults in school prioritise building strong and nurturing relationships with all children and all engage in deliberate daily acts of noticing children’s ongoing achievements.

Achievements both in and out of school, including individual and team events, are celebrated and shared in class and during Together Times or virtually through sways.

Children can also note their achievements on the class whiteboard in the gym hall. These celebrations help recognise children who have been ready, respectful and safe or who have demonstrated our values of honesty, fairness, caring and hardworking.

In addition, once a term, children can receive a Positive Note.  Culross Positive Notes are high level recognition. It is sincere acknowledgement of those children who have gone over and above consistently over a period of time. These handwritten notes, from the Headteacher, detail a child’s achievement and are posted home usually once a term.
