Breakfast Club

Craigrothie Breakfast Club

Craigrothie Primary has its very own free Breakfast Club, which is open to all Craigrothie pupils and starts at 8am, Monday to Friday.

Our Breakfast Club is run and supported by our Parent Council and a lovely group of volunteers from the local area.  We believe that every child should have access to a healthy breakfast that provides them with the nutrition they need to be their best. The club also provides an environment for the children to eat socially with others, which is always fun.

Each day children come in and have their breakfast, then after a quick tidy up, there is usually time for a play.  There are usually activities such as games, colouring and drawing or we go outside to play in the playground or check out the school garden.

There is always a range of healthy cereal, toast and fruit available each day, and if children have a specific dietary requirement, this can be catered for too.

Breakfast Club is free to every pupil at Craigrothie. The Parent Council fund the club with the money raised through fundraising events and grants from national and local organisations.
