Our Tech Team
We are very excited to have our very own ‘Canmore Computer Crew’ that are affectionately known as our ‘Tech Team’. These are made up from pupils from our P4 to P7 cohort’s.
As each new school year starts, any new P4-6 pupils with a keen interest in technology are invited to join to the Tech Team. The new P7’s become our senior members and undertake a mentoring role within the team.
Digital Literacy activities and the use of digital technology is well-embedded in the curriculum at Canmore. Our Tech Team play a vital role within school by providing training for their peers, supporting staff members and helping to maintain our IT equipment/area ready for the day ahead.
Most sessions we have 30+ members which in itself demonstrates the enthusiasm Canmore pupils have for their digital learning.
Supported by two members of staff, the ‘Tech Team’ meet once a week at lunchtime for training or to work on their next exciting project.
