We have been learning initial sounds and are starting to blend these sounds together to make words. We have explored the characters from the reading scheme and have started to incorporate them into our writing.

We are learning about numbers to 5, 10 or 20 including counting games, ordering numbers, finding more than/less than a number and finding missing numbers in a sequence.

We have been playing listening games in gym and working on teamwork/communication strategies. We are also learning about emotions and feelings using the orange Emotions Works cog.

We have been enjoying learning simple French vocabulary and learning French songs.

We are learning how to keep a beat and rhythm using musical instruments.

We have started to learn about seasons, focussing on Autumn. We have created art pieces using different materials and have been exploring nature through outdoor experiences.
