Garden Design Finished!
Owen has now brought together the children’s ideas and published the Wildlife Garden Design. A copy of this is on the noticeboard in the foyer, with an artist’s impression of the final garden. There are also some examples of the children’s planning ideas. We hope to collect all of the children’s original plans, drawings and ideas in a big scrapbook to tell the story of our Wildlife Garden.
Even more exciting news – work on the garden is due to start on Monday 21st March!!!
Garden Design Almost Complete
After a lot of discussions, creative ideas, research and drawings Owen has now met with representatives from all classes to confirm the design of our Wildlife Garden. However there have been a few problems – we can’t use tyres! The tyres contain chemicals which can be harmful and as we want our garden to be eco-friendly they are not an option. Many people suggested a pond – but of course this needs to be safe, so Owen has been very busy looking at different options to make the pond safe for children but also an ideal habitiat for our frogs and newts.
Owen hopes to be in school and nursery this week, so look out for the plan in they foyer!!!
