Westquarter Digital Leaders 
Digital Leaders are pupils trained to be experts and advocates of using appropriate technologies in school allowing them to act as ambassadors and mentors for staff and students.
A Digital Leader is part of the Digital Leader Team in school whose role it is to support the use and to further the development of ICT in school alongside staff.
The Digital Leader team is chosen based on application and aim to meet regularly either in person or using Microsoft Teams.
Pupils are given training and support within school or as part of cluster events to develop specific skills within ICT. After gaining an area of expertise, staff may then request the Digital Leader to assist them in their learning and teaching. Pupils are also involved in creating videos showing how to carry out certain skills or how to use specific apps.
