Falkirk has revised the Staged Intervention Guidance in 2021. The EPS had contributed to the development of it. It is published on the ASN Team website.

As it applies for Educational Psychology – in summary:

Stage 1 – Early Intervention – online materials and guidance on this blog.

Stage 2 – Additional Support – a general consultation or targeted training

Stage 3 – Enhanced Support – a level 1 consultation about an individual child by phone or video call – this may involve follow ups

Stage 4 – Intensive Support – Substantial Involvement – attending TAC Meetings, assessment/intervention
