Carers Trust (2021). Young Carers in Education A Resource on Identifying and Supporting Young Carers in Education. This Education Toolkit is a resource which can help school staff to identify and support young carers in school.

The Scottish Government (September 2025) created this information for young carers, explaining the legal definition, how to access help at school, and for leaving school.

Young Carers – Falkirk & Clackmannanshire Carers Centre   This includes a You Tube video of a Young Carer in Falkirk describing the support they get from the Young Carer’s Project. The Young Carer’s Project has a facebook page.
