Every Monday, Primary 6 have been going down to Primary 2/1 to do paired reading. We went to the library and picked a picture book and took it to P2/1 and read it to our partner that we picked. We also helped to introduce their new reading books. There wasn`t enough P2/1`s so some of us had a trio. At the end of the lesson one of the Primary 6’s would read to the full class. We really enjoy reading to them!

On Tuesday the teachers measured us to see what size top we were because we got to wear tops that had Max in the Middle on them.

We have been showing Zap the Alien some interesting things around Camelon. He wanted to find out about how we can travel around so we took him on a walk to the train station.
We also took Zap on a walk to the Main Street in Camelon. He wanted to see the kind of shops we had in the local area.
We saw Patricks the Butchers, the Chinese Takeaway, the chemist, the chippy, the bakery, the DIY shop, the newsagents, the opticians and the cafe.
We went in the chemist to see what it sold. We saw toothbrushes, medicines, toothpaste, baby food and nappies, first aid kits, lipsalves, soap, shampoo and vitamins.
We also went on to the bakery to see what it sold. We saw birthday cakes, drinks, sausage rolls, chocolate eclairs, cream cakes, sandwiches, doughnuts, fruit cakes, steak bakes and bread. They looked yummy! – Erin
